A closer look at Prime Video's book choices for Reacher's seasons 4 and 5 seems to reveal the show's long-term adaptation formula. Instead of picking a random book from Lee Child's Jack Reacher series, Prime Video adapted his debut novel, Killing Floor, for season 1. This made it hard not to wonder if the streaming service would chronologically follow the original book series in new seasons.
