A lot of time has come and gone since Scrubswas in its heyday, but this sitcom still has one of the best episodes of television. From day one, this medical comedy series stood out from the crowd. At a time when shows like ER were all the rage, a series that took a surprisingly realistic approach to the health care industry with layers of absolutely outrageous humor was an intriguing prospect. Still, Scrubs was the sort of thing that could either be a massive hit or absolutely crash and burn. With Bill Lawrence at the wheel, things worked out.
