Though Netflix's Little House on the Prairiereboot only just released on the streaming platform, the buzz surrounding the show's second season has already begun. Based on the classic novels by Laura Ingalls Wilder, Little House on the Prairie follows Laura (Alice Halsey) and her family's journey from their native Wisconsin to the unpredictable challenges out west. The series adapts the third book in Ingalls Wilder's series, which was turned into a TV movie in 1974 and then adapted into the beloved series starring Michael Landon and Melissa Gilbert. While Netflix has a new take, the story remains largely unchanged.
