3 Years Later, Guardians of the Galaxy 3 Is Still The Darkest In The Franchise

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has had a dark side since the very beginning, with the first Avengers all having their own complex, at times quite painful backstories and histories. After all, none of the team members were exactly happy, well-adjusted heroes when they first united in The Avengers. In the time since, countless other characters have been introduced and have likewise brought their own tragedies, grim moments, and heartbreaking scenes. In fact, some of the original Avengers themselves, such as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, only had the full truth of their brutal backstories revealed relatively recently.
