Over the decades, network TV has taught viewers to associate certain days of the week with certain types of scripted programming. Primetime shows are Monday to Thursday, and Sunday nights are for the big, prestige shows. Saturday is when people are least likely to be home watching television, and Friday is only a modicum better.
