Pierce Brosnan famously got his big break on television as the leading man of Remington Steele in the '80s, but one of the gems of his career was a more recent TV show that many people overlooked. The Son, which ran for two seasons on AMC, starred the former James Bond actor as a Texas cattle baron. Unfortunately, the Western debuted too early to benefit from the genre's rebirth courtesy of Taylor Sheridan's shows. That said, even though The Son released years before Landman premiered, there are elements of that show as well as Dark Winds in Brosnan's series.
