Before Netflix’s One Piece premiered in summer 2023, Eiichiro Oda’s manga and its anime adaptation already had a huge fanbase. The saga of Monkey D. Luffy’s journey to find the title treasure and become the new King of the Pirates has resonated with millions around the world since Oda began telling this story in 1997.
