A new space opera based on a bestselling YA sci-fi book series is in the works, and it is hard not to see how it perfectly combines some of the best story elements from Top Gunand Attack on Titan. Top Gun and Attack on Titan are two very distinct franchises on the surface. While the Attack on Titan brand hails from Japan and has both manga and anime under its umbrella, Top Gun is one of Hollywood's most iconic action drama franchises.
