Over the last 25 years, there have been some intense survival thrillers released in theaters and on streaming. With Sam Raimi's new survival thriller, Send Help, the newest addition to the genre, these movies put a survivor up against everything from monsters and sharks to nature itself. In most cases, one or two people have to fight for survival when they end up alone and away from society, and they have to figure out how to stay alive until someone can save them, or more importantly, until they can find a way to save themselves.
