Beef Season 2 Is A Lesser Version Of The White Lotus

Ahead of its release, Beef season 2 promised juicy interpersonal drama against the backdrop of a luxury country club, a premise that was an almost perfect match to the conceit of The White Lotus, HBO's wildly successful anthology. Yet this comparison was a sharp departure from season 1, which, while perhaps most similar to Everything Everywhere All at Once, was something completely itself.
