The 2000s were a phenomenal time for the fantasy genre. We were treated to so many consistently good fantasy films, whether they were adaptations of books, completely original ideas, or part of massive franchises. The end result provided us with some of the most memorable films ever released in the genre. That was the case for pretty much every single year of the decade, making it difficult to pinpoint which was the best of any given year.
