Star Trek: Starfleet Academy's tribute to Captain Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks) and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is so much better than the original plan for the episode. Star Trek: Starfleet Academy episode 5, "Series Acclimation Mil," included the return of Cirroc Lofton, who played Jake Sisko for the first time since Star Trek: Deep Space Nine ended in 1999.
