Force powers have always been an important part of Star Wars, ever since Obi-Wan Kenobi first performed a Jedi mind trick in A New Hope. There's the standard array of powers, like telekinesis, and more advanced techniques, like Force lightning, that most Jedi and Sith have been using for decades.
