Taylor Sheridan's TV universe has become one of the most dominating presences on television, making the Western a part of modern culture once again, and one series that could've been akin to Sheridan's just missed the boat. Throughout the 2010s, Westerns were somewhat less interesting to viewers, who were looking for crime dramas and more futuristic stories rather than classics.
