The Mandalorian and Grogu will hit theaters on May 22, marking Star Wars' first new theatrical release in nearly seven years. That alone would be a lot of pressure, but the fact that the most recent movie release was Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker—largely seen as Star Wars' worst movie—only makes the pressure that much greater.
