The Lord Of The Rings' New Movies Prove We Were Too Harsh On The Rings Of Power

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has been at the center of a lot of hate for the last few years, but movie plans—including that recent Stephen Colbert news—suggest that we might have been too harsh on Prime Video. It's always been clear that there is a lot of on-screen potential for Tolkien's Lord of the Rings books, and over the better part of a century, several adaptations have come into existence. The most successful of these is, of course, Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy. It's been a tough act to follow, but Prime Video has done its darndest with its Second-Age TV show The Rings of Power.
