Shrinking Season 3, Episode 9 Recap: Jeff Daniels' Return Ruins Everything

Warning! Spoilers for Shrinking season 3, episode 9, ahead!Jeff Daniels' return in Shrinking season 3, episode 9, "Daddy Issues," really messes things up for Jimmy. This actor previously appeared in the Apple TV series playing Jimmy's (Jason Segel) father, Randy Laird, but his role was of little consequence until now. We learned that Jimmy has a pretty complicated relationship with his father, to the point where he feels rather uncomfortable about Alice (Lukita Maxwell) being so attached to him. Still, he put his own feelings aside so that Alice would feel comfortable asking Randy to her graduation.
