In shows like Star Trek: Strange New Worlds or Star Trek: Voyager among others, Vulcans stand front and center. In other shows, like Star Trek: The Next Generation or Star Trek: Discovery, Vulcans may not be on the bridge, but Vulcan characters nevertheless have a lot of influence. Even in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, where Vulcan characters are few and far between, the influence of Vulcans on the Federation as a whole remains palpable.
