Transformers’ Next Live-Action Movie Sounds Great But Is Not What The Franchise Needs Right Now

The next Transformers movie is very exciting, but it is possibly not the right move for the future of the franchise. The live-action Transformers movies make up one of the most successful film franchises of all time. Two movies in the franchise have made over $1 billion at the box office. However, recent Transformers movies haven't grossed as much money as earlier entries in the franchise. Director Michael Bay began the live-action Transformers movie universe in 2007, but no longer directs films in the series.
