Taron Egerton offers a new update on the future of the Kingsman franchise that contradicts a 20th Century exec's recent comments. The espionage action franchise is comprised of two main movies and a prequel, the latter being the most recent installment in 2021. The original film was a box office success, raking in over $414 million worldwide. The subsequent movies haven't been able to match this, but additional spinoffs and a third film, tentatively titled Kingsman: The Blue Blood, have been announced to be in development. However, 20th Century's president Steve Asbell said in October that there are "no plans on doing them anytime soon."
