Christopher Murphy and directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett of Radio Silence, revolved around a bride whose family of in-laws hunt her on the wedding night as part of a Satanic ritual to maintain their wealth. After reports swirled of a follow-up in early 2024, it was confirmed in October 2024 that Ready or Not 2 was moving forward with the entire creative team, including star Samara Weaving, returning.
