The new upcoming ABC comedy Shifting Gears has added an American Pie alum to its cast list. The highly-anticipated comedy show will see iconic actor Tim Allen returning to sitcoms for the first time since 2021 in the role of Matt, a recent stubborn widower who restores classic cars. He will be joined by Two Broke Girls star Kat Dennings, who plays his estranged daughter, Riley, who moves into his house with her kids, and they seek to rebuild their relationship.
