The 75th Hunger Games, featured in Lionsgates 2013 release The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, marked two significant changes to Panems deadly competition. The first was that the tributes were reaped from previous victors instead of eligible teenagers from the districts. The second was that there would be no victor, an outcome that would usher Panem into rebellion, and the result of a plot ingrained in the games design. Every tribute walking into the Hunger Games expects spectacle, bloodshed, and one victor at the end of it all. At least, that was the expectation before the 75th Annual Hunger Games.
