New elf characters are teased for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 2. Galadriel (Morfydd Clark) spent the majority of season 1 with Halbrand (Charlie Vickers), who was later revealed to be Sauron, and among the Nmenreans, instead of being among her fellow elves. That will change in The Rings of Power season 2's story now that Galadriel has returned to Middle-earth, knows the truth about Sauron, and has reunited with the elves, while most of the Nmenreans have returned to Nmenor at this stage of The Lord of the Rings prequel series.
