Friday the 13th prequel series Crystal Lake has returned from the dead, with a new showrunner now leading production on the A24 streaming series. Announced in 2022 as a streaming series for Peacock, the upcoming Crystal Lake TV show has very few story elements revealed as of writing, aside from being expected to take place prior to the events of the movie. However, it was previously reported that the series had been potentially cancelled, with showrunner Bryan Fuller having been fired from the project by A24 in May of this year.
