Glen Powell reacts to the surprising outcry over Twisters not featuring a kiss between the two leads. Released in mid-July, the sequel to 1996's Twister stars Powell as Tyler Owens, a hotshot storm chaser who teams up with Kate (Daisy Edgar-Jones) to tame a tornado. The dynamic between Tyler and Kate is a key part of the movie, but despite the clear romantic tension between the two, they never kiss onscreen. It was later revealed that director Lee Isaac Chung opted to remove a kissing scene from the final film.
