Following its protagonist Bodes forced return to his hometown of Edgewater, Fire Country shines a light on Cal Fires inmate fire camps via Bodes peculiar story of being firefighting royalty who fights fires as an inmate. Three Rock gives him the chance to give back to the community he turned his back on after a family tragedy prompted him to leave it, necessarily putting him in contact with his friends and family who are part of Cal Fire.
