Shrinking season 2 has a confirmed release date on Apple TV+, but there's one significant change. Debuting in January 2023, from Jason Segel and Ted Lasso collaborators Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein, the story focuses on Segel as he plays a therapist who can barely keep his life together after the death of his wife. As his fractured state begins to impact his job, Segel's character, Jimmy, turns to Dr. Paul Rhodes (Harrison Ford) for advice. The comedy also stars Luke Tennie, Lupita Maxwell, Jessica Williams, Christa Miller, and Michael Urie. They're all returning for Shrinking season 2.
