Michael C. Hall has not finished playing Dexter Morgan, with his return now confirmed for both the Dexter: Original Sin prequel show and a new sequel series. Originally assuming the role of the Miami-based vigilante serial killer in 2006, Halls tenure as the titular character would earn him a swathe of award nominations and even a Golden Globe win for Best Actor Television Series Drama in 2010. Most recently, Hall has been involved as an executive producer on Dexter: Original Sin, which is set to star Patrick Gibson as a younger version of his character.
