While the concept of hell is nothing new to the Star Wars galaxy, it can be a bit puzzling to understand how it fits into the greater galaxy. Seeing as Star Wars has often adopted its own unique traits in terms of mythology, with the Jedi and the Force serving as the most notable examples, it makes sense that something like hell would seem too specific to the real world to be included. It has, however, become an ordinary part of the galaxy, referenced as both a location and as an expletive.
