The latest Alien: Romulus trailer makes me very excited about Aliens return to the big screen seven years after the disappointment that it was Alien: Covenant. The first Alien movie since Disney acquired 20th Century Fox, Fede lvarezs Alien: Romulus is being marketed as a return to basics for the franchise. From the aesthetic of the ship to the sound design, Alien: Romulus has felt more like Alien than the sagas previous two films ever did. The upcoming Alien TV show is also expected to match the tone of the first film, which I believe is the right approach.
