Billy Bob Thornton Officially Finds His Landman Replacement Ahead Of 2027 Return

Although Landman keeps teasing potential replacements and future developments, the success of the series rests entirely on Billy Bob Thornton. Thornton’s effortless charisma and cowboy swagger keep Landman more than watchable, even when the cracks in Taylor Sheridan’s high-output, low-effort writing start to show. Landman’s season 2 finale teased Tommy’s son Cooper as his eventual replacement, since Tommy has made Cooper the president of his new company and will be taking a more hands-off role himself.
