Avengers: Endgame is a dark movie by the MCU's standards, but DC's version of it is darker than anything in Marvel's entire pantheon. When looking at the former franchise, "dark MCU movies" isn't typically what comes to mind. There are, admittedly, a few darker entries, with Avengers: Endgame being one of them. There are many characters in Avengers: Endgame, several of which meet their end at the hands of Thanos and in the many battles against him.
