When it comes to the fantasy genre, one of the most notable names is that of George R. R. Martin. His novel series A Song of Ice and Fire and accompanying works are the basis of Game of Thrones, now one of the best TV shows of all time, as well as of House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
