The X-Files' Upcoming Reboot Already Has One Of Hulu's Best Casts

Since I’m still grieving the loss of the Buffy spinoff that never was, I’m cautiously optimistic about Hulu’s upcoming reboot of The X-Files. But everything we’ve heard about this new show has been very promising. For starters, it’s being spearheaded by Ryan Coogler, the Oscar-winning writer-director of Sinners, so there’s a visionary filmmaker at the helm. Coogler has promised that the new series will strike a nice balance between standalone monster-of-the-week episodes and a larger, serialized, overarching mythology, just like Chris Carter’s original show did.
