Prime Video’s Bosch now has a place among the best detective TV shows of all time, in large part thanks to Welliver’s character and his performance. Bosch had a successful run of seven seasons, ending in 2021, but his world is far from over. Bosch has continued with the spinoffs Bosch: Legacy, which concluded in 2025, and Ballard, which follows Detective Renée Ballard (Maggie Q).
