Netflix is eager to show One Piece fans that it is listening to them. This series has been a rare success in the world of live-action anime adaptations, and fans of the medium still aren't used to having their requests and demands met. Netflix, especially, has been at the center of frustration, as it previously released anime remakes that seemed to show little interest in honoring the source material or its viewers. It's for precisely this reason that One Piece was and continues to be such a shock. Season 1 checked off nearly every box, and season 2 took care of several more.
