Ridley Scott created an 18-part sci-fi series that serves as the spiritual successor to the Prometheus films. Scott, who is famous for his fascination with humanity’s origins and artificial intelligence, has been at the helm of some of the best science fiction films of the past four decades. Although the producer, director, and writer is recognized for the cult classic Alien franchise, his hand in one of HBO’s shows made it one of the best series on the platform.
