In Cobra Kai's initial arcs, Robby was introduced as Daniel LaRusso's first official Miyagi Do student, which made him one of the most rootable characters in the series. However, his narrative took a dark turn when Daniel banned him from his dojo, forcing him to compete with no sensei in the All-Valley Tournament. Although Robby's relationship with Daniel eventually improved, he landed in some deep trouble after Cobra Kai season 2's ending school showdown.
