In fact, there are some great theories about how Violet's dream-walking will come into play on the heels of Onyx Storm's shocking ending. Violet realizes that dream-walking is the gift Andarna has given her just before Onyx Storm's final battle, so there isn't much time to process what this means for her character. The irids tell Andarna that Violet's ability is "dangerous," and the fact that it's an Inntinnsic power confirms that.
