Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is the latest iteration of the iconic Marvel superhero. Initially named Spider-Man: Freshman Year, the series was going to be an animated prequel to Tom Holland's version of the character, but eventually become it's own thing entirely, taking place in its own section of the multiverse with some changes to the character and his story. The animated Spider-Man series released on Disney + on January 29, 2025.
