Javad was the head of security at the Iranian Mission, dedicated to protecting his country's ambassador to the UN, Abbas. He also began something of a romance with The Night Agent's Noor, not realizing that she was secretly passing information from the Mission to the FBI. Javad's connection to Noor was nearly a significant problem for Peter Sutherland and Night Action, but the ending of The Night Agent season 2 saw this character subdued by the least likely of people.
