Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu made a couple of changes to the original movie and the main character, Count Orlok, and it ended up sharing a disturbing power with Bill Skarsgård’s forgotten Netflix vampire. One of 2024’s most anticipated horror movies was Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu, a remake of the 1922 German expressionist classic of the same name by F. W. Murnau, itself an unofficial adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Nosferatu has been praised by critics and, at the time of writing, has already broken even at the box office, and it’s expected to make more.
