Brandon Scott Jones' Isaac Higgintoot character, a Founding Father who died of dysentery during the Revolutionary War, has a long-standing feud with Alexander Hamilton. The sitcom finally announced it would feature Hamilton in the Ghosts season 4 cast, an exciting update, despite the show failing to procure Utkarsh Ambudkar's longtime friend Lin-Manuel Miranda for the part. Many hoped Miranda would play Hamilton in Ghosts due to Miranda's famously playing the titular role in his Hamilton Broadway musical.
