Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise Writers Tease Future Non-Earth Adventures: "We Would Like To See It"

Sonic the Hedgehog franchise writers Josh Miller and Patrick Casey express interest in seeing some non-Earth adventures in a future sequel. Based on the hit Sega video game character, director Jeff Fowler's first Sonic the Hedgehog movie was released in 2020, introducing Ben Schwartz as the titular blue speedster. The film, which also stars Jim Carrey as the villainous Dr. Robotnik, was a hit, and it was followed by two sequels, both of which take place mostly on Earth. The most recent installment, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, hit theaters in December and has been a massive success.
