One of Hollywood's most versatile actors, Bill Skarsgård, has pitched his dream DCU role as The Brave and the Bold's Joker, stoking the fan-casting flames. DC Studios' rebooted cinematic franchise, the DC Universe, is underway with Creature Commandos leading the charge on Max. While the DCU's live-action offerings will debut with Superman on July 11, there is no word yet on when Batman will join with his own solo movie. It was confirmed in June 2023 that The Flash director, Andy Muschietti, is due to direct, although there have been no casting confirmations yet.
