Dog Soldiers is living proof that sometimes, even the most intelligent and well-crafted movies can slip under the public’s radar. The film has tons of exciting ideas and fascinating themes, but somehow it remains underappreciated. The story centers around a small squad of British soldiers who find themselves in dangerous enemy territory — but things turn even more sinister when their enemies are identified as supernatural werewolves. Although Dog Soldiers 2 never got made, the original was a hugely creative horror that deserves more attention.
