Jigsaw continues the legacy of John Kramer (Tobin Bell) after his death but with two major twists, as is tradition in the Saw saga. Seven years after the supposed “final chapter” of the Saw saga with Saw 3D, an eighth installment arrived to shake up what the audience thought they knew about John Kramer and his whole history as the Jigsaw killer. Directed by the Spierig Brothers, Jigsaw introduces viewers to a new group of “players” in Jigsaw’s twisted games, all of them chosen as they have some dark confessions to make.
