Dan Akroyd made some highly perceptive comments about the future of Ghostbusters as a franchise and Ghostbusters 6. Akroyd is a legendary comedy actor with over 100 credits to his name stretching back to 1974. However, while Akroyd's career took off in 1984 thanks to the success and popularity of Ghostbusters, the series has moved on decades later. Or at least it's trying to move on.
