Hugh Grants character, Daniel Cleaver, was noticeably absent in Bridget Joness Baby. The romantic movie, which is based on Helen Fieldings novel, saw Daniel and Bridget have an on-and-off relationship that couldnt work out because of his playboy tendencies. In the third Bridget Jones movie, Daniel wasnt in the cast despite being a huge part of the story in Helen Fieldings book.
